Project performed by PT. BIMA Green Energi, Telkomsel, and Smart Hydro Power
Situation: Power consumption of the telecom towers is only going to increase as Indonesian telecom operators look to enhance their cover areas and adopt new technologies. In order to ensure the reliable data transmission for telecommunication services, the telecommunication towers work non-stop, consuming a great amount of energy. Meanwhile, in remote areas not connected to the grid, diesel is the only alternative to keep them working.
Technology: SMART Monofloat Turbines were installed powering a telecommunication tower.
